Hello dear reader,
"Nimmishta" is a common phrase in Kannada colloquial language. It means "As you like it".
Often used to say in context with "Do whatever you like", if you do not accept what you are offered. I get to hear this on various occasions and at so many levels. For example, I was arguing with my father on parking my vehicle. I parked IT in hurry but it would get blocked if anybody comes next, which I failed to notice. My father told me to park it right. I said nobody will come now, and anyway I'm leaving in sometime so it is alright, his reaction "Ninnishta".
It always humors me. It is like although you know your advice is not considered, yet you advice and when it doesn't work out well, you still try to be on top by saying "Nimmishta- As you like it" implies you are ignorant as a fool.
In this blog, "Nimmishta" does not mean exactly the same, but It means "how you take on the topic I discuss in my posts!" or It is completely "your perspective"
Here I give YOU the opportunity to conclude with your own understanding in your own way and with your own perspective "AS YOU LIKE IT!"
DO YOU LIKE IT?
Nimmishta! :p
